Citilink Youth Summer Fun Pass
Citilink is again offering a Youth Summer Fun Pass. It is a great value (it normally costs $0.60/trip or $1.50/day for youth to ride the bus) - the Summer Fun Pass is only $25.00 for the whole Summer (pass is valid June 14 through August 27).
These passes will be available at most Scott’s & Kroger stores, the Utility Office at the City-County Building, and from the office at Citilink.

Revolutionary War at the Old Fort
Beware! The Continental Army will be camping at the Old Fort this weekend. The forces of the United States will be on patrol for the British army and the Indians. Join General Washington´s forces as they demonstrate life when the United States was being created. Talk with the soldiers and their families, watch and hear the musket and cannon fire, immerse yourself in the life of our forefathers.
Please join the volunteers at the Old Fort on Saturday, June 12th from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 13th from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. For more information call (260) 460-4763 or visit the website.

Experience a fun filled day at Germanfest 2009. Sentimental Journey will provide free horse drawn wagon rides for the entire family. Mark’s Ark, Grace and Co. Face painting, balloon sculpting for young and young at heart. Fort Wayne fire department and state police department will be on hand. Fencing demonstrations, magic act Jugglers, Kinder Korner, Sing songs learn to speak a little German. And much more. Enter to be a contestant for the balloon stomp. Sign up at the main gate area information booth.

Grassy Knoll adjacent to the Festival Pavilion
The Grapes of Wrath returns for the 2nd Annual Trauben Tromp Competitive Grape Stomp. This is an old fashioned grape stomp competition. Nine teams of three players compete to stomp the most grapes in 90 seconds and produce the most juice to win. Each team needs a stomper, a spotter, and a catcher. Players must be at least 18 years old to participate, and any age to watch.
