Join most of Fort Wayne at the Johnny Appleseed Festival this Saturday and Sunday (September 18th & 19th) on the grounds just behind the Memorial Coliseum. Saturday the event will be open from 10:00AM - 6:00pm, and Sunday from 10:00am - 5:00pm. There is NO admission fee!
Never been to the Johnny Appleseed Festival before? Come check out the demonstrators and learn things like how to make tin ware or soap, watch weaving or the blacksmith at work. There are games for children to play, and antiques to browse, or listen to live music. A farmer's market will be there with fresh fruits and vegetables. And don't forget the food - freshly-made baked potatoes, steak, caramel corn, apple pies, turkey legs, and much much more!
